The second Brewers 10K run will be taking place on Sunday 29th October 2023.
There will be some road closures around Stretton for the duration of the event.
The race has a start time of 09:00 AM and an expected race finish time of 11:00 AM. They are expecting there to be around 1000 runners participating in the event this year.
In light of this event, there will be traffic management procedures in place on the morning of the event. These procedures have been designed to offer minimal disruption and will be managed by an expert Traffic Management company that will reopen roads as soon as
possible and provide appropriate diversions during disrupted times between 8:30am and 11:00am. If you will be expecting home-carers to visit your household on the morning of the event then please get in contact with us by emailing midlands@runthrough.co.uk so they are able to create access contingency plans for you.
RunThrough Events have previous experience of organising mass-participation running events such as Gateshead Half Marathon, Northampton 10k and Run Alton Towers festival which help to raise vast amounts for various charities.

09:00 – Race starts, runners leave Pirelli Stadium
09:01 – First runners reach Princess Way
09:03 – First runners reach Main Street
09:04 – First runners reach Church Road
09:07 – First runners reach Dovecliff Road
09:13 – First runners reach Station Road
09:15 – First runners reach Burnside
09:16 – First runners reach Knowles Hill
09:18 – First runners reach Rolleston Road
09:21 – First runners reach Bitham Lane
09:24 – First runners reach Bridge Street
09:30 – First runners return to Pirelli Stadium and finish race
09:30 – Final runners reach Dovecliff Road. Church Road reopens
10:00 – Final runners reach Burnside. Dovecliff Road & Station Road reopen
10:15 – Final runners reach Bitham Lane. Burnside, Knowles Hill & Rolleston Road reopen
10:30 – Final runners return to Main Street. Bitham Lane & Bridge Street reopen
10:45 – Final runners leave Princess Way to finish race in Pirelli Stadium
11:00 – Event finished. All roads reopened
