Annual Parish Meeting

Annual Parish Meeting

What is the Annual Parish Meeting?

All parishes, whether or not they have a parish council, hold a meeting once a year to discuss the affairs of the parish. It is an opportunity for the Parish Council to report on what it’s been up to during the year, for borough and county councillors and village organisations to make presentations, and for villagers to raise any concerns they may have.

When and Where is it Held?

The Annual Parish Meeting is held at the Priory Centre, Church Road, Stretton and can be held in April or May.

Parish Council Annual Report

The Annual Report of the Parish Council is published following the Annual Parish Meeting and has formed part of the proceedings at the meeting.  The Report contains the Chairman’s review, activities and achievements of the Council and community grants awarded.
