Stretton & Claymills WWII Book

Stretton Parish Council is pleased to endorse and promote a new book written by parish councillor and local historian Malcolm Goode to mark the 75th Anniversary of VE Day.

The book tells the story of the 13 men named on our village war memorial. It also talks about life on the home front and how the people of Stretton and Clay Mills played a part in securing victory.

ALL proceeds from sales of the book will be donated to William Shrewsbury Primary School’s Sensory Room upgrade.
